Welcome to the Prime Timers ABF! The class is held each Sunday from 10:10 am until 10:50. We are following a church wide program called The God of Continuing Creation this year, and we invite you to come on in. The Black and Orange Party!
The Prime Timers social, hosted by Gayle and Arlen Ferguson was held this past Saturday, October 30. The theme was to wear something orange and/or black. You can see from the photos that people got right into the spirit of things. And for all those I missed, my apologies! Maud Ella Hartley brought her character "Miss Slimmens" to the party. She is pictured to the right. Maud Ella tells us Miss Slimmens is "based on a character I found in one of the first magazines published for women in the United States. She's the town milliner, watches everything from her shop windows, and loves to gossip about the people in her small town." Talk about your orange and black! The "spider sisters" Caroline Maryan and Jackie Rose.
You might recognize Caroline Maryan (r) from the last photo. Here we add two generations of Akers, Nancy (l) and Carol Akers Klug in the middle.
Hello Kitty Diane White came complete with a "Cat Burglar List" (on the left).
Max Kech (l) and Mary Kaeppel. Where did you get those stockings!
Robert and Jackie Rose. Yes, those are horses on Robert's shirt. Prime Timers Contact names and numbers Co-Leaders

Turn of the century busy-body "Miss Slimmens" was brought to us by Maud Ella Hartley.
No Prime Timers party would be complete without the Rev. Bob Brown and his wife Dorothy (l). They are joined by Art and Nancy Shelton.
Jim and Sally Nelson. Sally's the one with the witches hat!

Elizabeth Laigle and Dr. Bill Moore, with another Bill, Linden in orange in the back. The Lesson for this Sunday, Nov. 7 is titled "Living by New Rules" Key Verse: Matthew 5:17 Focus of the Lesson: Many people have a strong personal sense of integrity. What guides our integrity as Christians?? Jesus taught that both attitude and action are important. The reading is Matthew 5:17-18, 21-22, 27-28, 31-35, 38-39, 43-44. This text is from the New Revised Standard Version. 17 ‘Do not think that I have come
to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to
fulfill. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass
away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law
until all is accomplished. | ||
